Karli has been wanted to go to Medieval Times for years! We finally got our chance to visit the Orlando Castle, and it was nothing short of amazing. In fact, it was one of the highlights of the trip. This is something unique, entertaining, and just plain fun that the entire family can enjoy.
Medieval Times is housed in a castle and is a dinner show that will not leave you disappointed. There are six knights (Black & White, Green, Yellow, Red, Red & Yellow, & Blue). The knights compete against each other to win the tournament. You cheer for the knight in the section, which you are seated. We were in the Blue Knight section, and it was a blast.
The tournament is two hours of non-stop competitions and pure entertainment. There is falconry, horsemanship, sword fighting, and jousting. Real weapons are used and the knights rally their teams. Everything is well orchestrated and the seating is elevated so that there is not a bad seat in the house (or castle).
A four course dinner is served that consists of tomato basil soup (so yummy!) and garlic bread, baked chicken, corn on the cob, potatoes, dessert, and unlimited soda, tea, or lemonade. The food was phenomenal! You eat utensil free, because hey this is Medieval Times after all! Vegetarian options are also available as are alcoholic beverages.
If you vacation in the Orlando area you owe it to yourself to take the family to Medieval Times. I promise you, they will love it! We did not want the evening to end. There are also locations in Atlanta, Buena Park, CA, Dallas, Myrtle Beach, Toronto, Baltimore, Chicago, and Lyndhurst, NJ. Free parking is available on site.
Medieval Times Orlando is located at 4510 West Vine Street, Kissimmee, Florida. You can find them on the web at http://www.MedievalTimes.com and at 1-888-WE-JOUST.
We highly recommend a visit to Medieval Times Orlando or any of the locations. The level of food and entertainment is hard to match. We will definitely be back. Oh, and our knight, the Blue Knight won!!

Thank you to Medieval Times Orlando for sponsoring our evening. As always all opinions are our own.
